Positions Available

• Lifeguard Team
  • We have approximately 65 positions available on our AMAZING and AWARD WINNING lifeguard team! Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old by June 1. The Lifeguard Team's overall responsibility is to provide safety with a SMILE to every guest at Splashway Family Waterpark. All lifeguards must complete the NASCO lifeguard training course prior to employment. Lifeguard training is done Splashway by NASCO certified instructors employed by Splashway. Training dates are held on Saturday and Sunday April 24th, 25th and May 1st, 2nd. You must attend one weekend training, as well, as lifeguard orientation on Saturday May 15th in order to become certified.
    • NASCO Certification Fee (New Guards)= $80
    • NASCO Fee (Returning 2008 Guards)= $45
  • If you are selected to join the Lifeguard Team, you will receive a phone call and be asked to select a training date that fits your schedule.
• Food Service Team
  • We have approximately 12 positions available on our Food Service Team. Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old by June 1. Duties include the preparation and serving of the finest food and beverages around, as well as, maintaining our high cleanliness standard with a SMILE in our Flamingo Cafe.
• Maintenance Team
  • We have approximately 6 maintenance positions available on our Maintenance Team. Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old by June 1. Team members perform general park maintenance including landscaping, water quality/filtration, pool cleaning, and small repairs with a SMILE. 16 and 17 year old team members are not permitted to operate tractor, saws, or perform activities specified by TEXAS CHILD LABOR LAWS.
• Cashiers Team
  • We have approximately 12 positions available on our Cashier Team. Applicants must be a minimum of 15 years old by June 1. This position requires you to SMILE and greet guest with enthusiasm all the while operating a cash register in the ticket booth, gift shop, and/or concessions. You will be trained for this position and must be knowledgeable of all prices and discounts offered be Splashway. You may also be required to check coolers and bags before they are allowed into the park, as well as, answer calls, take reservations, and inform guests of location and prices.
• Guest Service (GS) Team
  • This team is new to Splashway. The idea behind the Guest Service team is to find the most enthusiastic team members who really enjoy working with people and are genuinely interested in working at Splashway Family Waterpark. Members of this team will be selected from all Teams of employment and must be well-rounded individuals. This means you will first be a part of one of the other teams and will continue to work in that area as well. To be in the GS team is considered a privilege. Your job is to create the "WOW" factor. This may come from simple, everyday guest interactions, to costume and role-play during special events such as birthday parties. You will be trained and expected to become knowledgeable of all Splashway operations and to perform in a leadership role.
